Her finder du byens bedste morgenmad i Amsterdam

Before leaving for Amsterdam I had done my research and found a long list of places we had to eat at. On our last day there we were anyhow out of more places to eat. On Friday morning we were looking around for the perfect place to have our last breakfast – we wanted something super scrumptious and not just the regular. It wasn’t until I got a notification on facebook telling me where my friends had checked in we found the perfect place.

Under the notification facebook also had a thing called “what the locals recommend”. There I could search for restaurants or concerts or what ever. It was here I found “Vinnie’s Amsterdam”. I checked out their instagram profile and oh boy, I was completely certain we HAD TO have our last breakfast in town right there.

Vinnie’s Amsterdam is an adorable little thing not far from the central station. It is placed in a cozy neighborhood. The place is small and very cozy. The concept is based on popular, healthy and not least delicious food. You can personalize your food as well. To put an example: You order a toast with poached eggs and then you can choose between various toppings like avocado, mushrooms, salmon aso..

On the side you can order a bowl of seasonal fruits and the most delicious cups of coffees. They have whatever you desire. A thing I noticed when reading recommendations of the place was the fact that almost everyone were giving high praises about their cappuchino – totally understandable after trying it myself!

We gave just about 40 euroes for the entire meal. It might sound like a lot you would say, but I have to add that Sonny ordered two meals. For reasons unknown to me the man chose to order a croissant as his first dish. What man thinks he can survive on a croissant for breakfast? Seriously? Haha. He quickly realized so as well and ordered a secon dish consisting of bread with salmon, avocado and cottage cheese. The bowl with fruits cost 5,5 euroes and our large cappuchinoes 3,9 euroes a piece. In the end we ended out paying about 8 euroes a meal. Not much if you ask me.

This certainly was the best breakfast on the trip. Honestly we did only eat fabulous breakfast on the entire vacation with places like The Avocado Show and Mook Pancakes.
